My name is Elisabeth. I am 18 years old and am from Warner Robins, Georgia. My unique weather experience was my first storm chase. The tornado occurred in Bonaire, Georgia. Knowing I had to stay a distance because I didn’t have a proper car, I still got a nice view, from a distance, of a rain wrapped EF3 tornado. Since I was 3 and saw my first thunderstorm, I have had an extreme passion for severe weather and tornadoes, always finding it so beautiful. Now, I am going to attend the University of Oklahoma to study meteorology so I can study severe weather and tornadoes like my dream has always led me to. I love to understand the physics behind why weather does what it does!
